Finger prick (or finger stick) blood sampling collects capillary blood. Capillary blood sampling is routinely and accurately used for many tests, such as glucose testing in diabetes, hemoglobin testing of blood donors, and heel prick testing of newborns.
All of the tests that we offer are thoroughly evaluated to ensure the accuracy of the finger prick test matches the accuracy of a venous blood test (as would be collected by a health care provider).
